Sound Settings for Installed POI Types

Select POI-Manager > POI Settings > Acoustic Alert.

<br><br>

The POI type to be adjusted can be selected in the upper drop-down menu.

<br><br>

Now select the tab First Warning or Last Warning.

<br><br>

Use the button "..." to display all available wave files in a moving bar menu. You can either select a file here or enter the file name and path directly in the field preceding the "..."  button.

<br><br>

After selecting or entering the wave file, you can now decide whether the sound file is to be played once or several times. If the wave file is is to be played several times, you will hear the sound at various intervals while approaching the POI (assuming it is being actively monitored). It makes sense to select "Play sound once only" if you have chosen spoken announcements, as these should not be repeated continually.

<br><br>

Normally "Standard Warning" can be left as the default value, unless you wish to use particular wave files for individual overlays.

Please note that as these settings can be made individually for each POI type, the changes will only be applied to the POI type currently selected. However, you do not have to press OK individually for each POI type to ensure that your settings are saved, as the individual settings for each type will be saved together when you have finished. Just click on OK once, when you are ready.
