PANIC Button

The POI Warner PANIC Button allows you to completely remove pre-selected overlays from your device.

The PANIC Button is to the right in the main POI-Warner screen. Simply click on it to enter the settings.

If you wish to make use of the function, please activate the check box next to PANIC Button activated:

Activate the check box next to "Assign POI Recorder Hardware Key"*, if you wish to be able to perform the Panic function by pushing a hardware key when in navigation view. The function will set in when you press the hardware key for the length of time set in the last step. If you press the key for a shorter period, the POI-Warner will record a POI as usual. You need to allocate a hardware key to the POI Recorder under File > Options before activating this setting.

*Delegating other functions to hardware keys is not possible with all PNA devices.

You can choose how long you want to press the button to trigger the function under "Activation", "sec. tap and hold".

Click on "Select Overlays to be Deleted from Device", to define which POI overlays are to be deleted on activating the PANIC Button. Select the required overlays by clicking in the relevant check boxes and confirm your choices with OK.

If required, you can activate the option "Additional deletion from synchronisation, all settings and this dialog". In this case, all traces of the selected overlays and any settings you made will be removed when employing the function.
